Philip M. De Carlo joined Eagle Partners in April, 2000 to provide capital raising and advisory services to middle market firms.
Prior to joining Eagle Partners, Mr. De Carlo was Executive Vice President for middle market investment banking for Bank of America. In this capacity, Mr. De Carlo was responsible for development and execution of all facets of business strategy to deliver corporate finance services to the national franchise of commercial banking clients. These products and services included initial public offerings, private placements, syndications, high yield bonds, derivatives, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance and corporate finance advisory assignments. Mr. De Carlo formed this group in 1994, and grew operations to five cities with over 200 transactions annually. This experience involved transactions across diverse industries and market segments, including high technology, retailing, agribusiness, consumer products, distribution, and business services.
Prior to developing this business, Mr. De Carlo was Managing Director at Bank of America in the special industries division, serving assignments in the High Technology and Energy Groups. These assignments included execution of commercial and investment banking services over five years to software, disk drive, and semiconductor clients in Silicon Valley, and major electric and gas utilities and telecommunications clients nationally for an additional five years beginning in 1981.
Mr. De Carlo received a Master of Science in Industrial Administration degree from Carnegie-Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance from California State University, Northridge.
